Project Coordinator
Rishi Kesh Acharya is an accomplished educator and ICT specialist with over 15 years of progressive experience in teaching, educational leadership, and EdTech integration, including more than 5 years in educational project management. A Certified Microsoft Educator, he is deeply committed to transforming Nepal’s education landscape through innovation, technology, and stakeholder capacity building.
Currently serving as Project Coordinator at REED (Rural Education and Environment Development Center) Nepal, he leads projects focused on capacity development, digital transformation, and quality learning outcomes. His core responsibilities include project design and implementation, budgeting, donor management, stakeholder engagement, and periodic reporting ensuring that all initiatives remain sustainable and contextually relevant.
Previously, Rishi served as Training cum ICT Specialist at REED Nepal, where he designed and facilitated professional development programs for teachers, developed digital instructional resources, and led school-level ICT integration initiatives. He also spearheaded the production and broadcast of gender-responsive radio-based lessons during the COVID-19 crisis, showcasing his adaptability and innovation in ensuring uninterrupted learning access.
With a strong foundation in mathematics education and pedagogy, Rishi has also contributed as a Mathematics and STEAM instructor at leading institutions, including Himalayan Whitehouse World School and Rhododendron International Boarding School. His expertise spans instructional design, educational technology, research, and facilitation. He holds a Master’s in Mathematics Education, a Master’s in STEAM Education from Kathmandu University, and a Master’s in International Business from Brest Business School, France.
A dynamic lifelong learner, Rishi’s professional competencies extend to ICT literacy, SPSS data analysis, video editing, Java programming, Android app development, and virtual content creation. He is also a certified 300-hour Yoga practitioner and a trained International Child Development Program (ICDP) facilitator, reflecting his holistic approach to education and personal growth.
