REED-Nepal enhances inclusive education in Nepal’s remote areas through teacher professional development to improve the teaching and learning process. It conducts various training programs based on training needs assessments for teachers, head teachers, School Management Committees (SMCs), PTAs, and parent orientation sessions. The focus is on classroom management and instruction to enhance students’ learning achievements. REED-Nepal also improves school management through school improvement plans in close coordination with the Government of Nepal, while addressing barriers for vulnerable children, girls, and children with disabilities, and promoting the holistic development of children.
